Participating in the competition

Interested candidates can participate in four primary categories- Exercise and Fitness Equipment, Sports Goods and Products, Activity Gear & Sports Clothing, and Recreational Equipment and Amusement Products.  Sports good manufacturers, experts in fitness equipment designing as well as industrial engineers are also entitled for participation.

Candidates can submit any product that has been designed in the last 10 years. The designs will be judged strictly on the basis of their aesthetic appeal, originality, ergonomics as well as environment-friendliness. The committee has called for entries for the 4thAnnual International Exercise Equipment Design Awards (EEDA).

Registration should be done online. The results of the design award for sports equipment for the current year will be announced on the 15th of April, 2014.
